My Trip to Pangkor Island

Image
On the 25th of May 2013,my family and my cousins went to Pangkor Island,Perak. We  stayed at Pangkor Bay View Resort at Teluk Nipah. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at the resort. The waves were high and the days were hot but windy. Map of Pangkor Island in Perak, Malaysia. We played at the beach at Teluk Nipah, Pangkor Island. My cousins and I spent most of our daytime swimming and playing in the swimming pool.     We went for snorkeling on the second day of vacation but unfortunately, there was no fish due to the rough wave and cloudy sea water. There are a lot of  local people selling food and drinks. There are also a lot of people selling clothes and souvenirs along the beach. My mom bought me a few beach shirts and shorts for me and my brother. Overall, I really enjoyed my vacation to Pangkor Island.

My Volcano

Image
Last month, I learned about volcanoes. I made a volcano. It was fun and interesting! You need: - a plastic bottle - a cardboard platform - newspaper - glue - water - dish soap - food coloring - baking soda - vinegar First, make the paper mache volcano using the plastic bottle, cardboard platform, newspaper, glue and water. Let it dry for a week.  Second, after it dries, paint your volcano (choose any color you want). Use acrylic paint for best result. Finally, once it's ready, you need  dish soap, food coloring,   baking soda and  vinegar to make your  volcano to erupt. This is how my volcano looks like!!!
